Bible College Students & Native Evangelists
Anointed young believers who are serious about church planting are encouraged to attend the Bible College in northern Karnataka. The two-year program includes a comprehensive study of the entire Bible, how to lead Bible studies, and how to teach and disciple new believers. They also learn how to deal with practical problems of the ministry and persecution. Each graduate then becomes a native evangelist working with a CMI pastor. Once he has opened a Children Center and/or church in an area not yet reached by the gospel, he will become a pastor himself.
Chapel Missions India underwrites this Bible College training for between $35 and $70 per month depending on the needs of the evangelist's family. We accept sponsorships for as little as $35 per month. God has given us great men and women with sincere hearts and a burden to reach their people with the same gospel that radically altered their own lives.

Church Planting: Slum and Village Churches
As children are exposed to the love of Jesus in our Children's Centers, their parents are affected by the fruit they see in the lives of their young ones. As a result, many parents want to learn about Jesus. Many have been saved and baptized. This presents the need to establish a church right in their neighborhoods, providing a pastor for these new believers. In response to this great need, Chapel Missions India has begun to build churches in a number of slums and villages, sending trained pastors to live among and serve these people.
Chapel Missions India financially supports these churches each month. Once established, the churches work toward becoming self supporting. Even though the congregations are made up of the poorest of the poor, the pastors develop congregational giving through community development efforts.

Home of Hope Orphanages
There are currently seven orphanages under the Home of Hope banner. The orphans we support have come from hopeless situations. Through the support of sponsors, these children are placed in a loving atmosphere where they are taught God's word, sent to the best schools, and are physically cared for. It is our desire to see these children grow up and go out into Indian society as witnesses for Jesus Christ. The children learn how to share the love of Christ by performing Christmas and Easter programs for slum communities and nearby villages. The children are also involved in serving our summer Vacation Bible Schools which are open to all the slum and village children reaching over 90,000 children each year. Our newest Home of Hope is designed specifically to care for children with HIV/AIDS; many of whom have lost one or both parents to this horrible disease. We have many opportunities for sponsorship of these precious children. We encourage the development of godly relationships through letter writing between our sponsors and our kids.

Boarding Schools
In thousands of slums and remote villages children are not able to attend school. Chapel Missions India has partnered with two other Indian organizations—The Church Council for Child and Youth Care and The Friends Missionary Prayer Band. Together we are able to place children trapped in poverty and illiteracy into Christian Boarding Schools. Here, they are able to be properly fed, clothed, and given a spiritual and academic foundation to break the cycle of poverty and alienation from God.

Children & Education Centers
Chapel Missions India's Children's Centers are established by our native evangelists in inner-city slums and remote villages. While at the centers, the children learn Bible stories, songs, and dramas. The children are also taught how to read and write, and are instructed in basic hygiene. For many it is the only education they receive. It’s amazing how the children flock to the centers! The classes overflow with children hungry to know about God.
Over 5,000 children are reached every week in the centers that have been established so far. There are opportunities to open countless more but we need help. Presently, Chapel Missions India operates each Children’s Center for about $75 per month.

AIDS Family Ministry
In 2005 we were given permission by one widow who suffers with AIDS to care for her little girl, Sangeetha, who is also HIV positive. This act became the impetus for our Home of Hope for AIDS children called Heaven's Gate. Subsequently, we were faced with the fact that many poor families suffering with this disease were also in need of our help. Thus began our ministry to AIDS families. Area pastors and evangelists visit each family on a regular basis teaching and counselling them from God's word and offering practical help. To date, we care for 183 such families through one time gifts and individual sponsorships. Many more sponsors are needed.
