Bible College Student and Native Evangelists
Anointed young believers who are serious about church planting are encouraged to attend the Bible College in northern Karnataka. The two-year program includes a comprehensive study of the entire Bible and teaches how to lead Bible studies and teach and disciple new believers. They also learn how to deal with persecution and practical problems in ministry. Each graduate becomes a native evangelist working under a CMI pastor. Once the graduate has opened a Children's Center and/or church in an unreached area, he becomes a Calvary Chapel pastor.
Church Planting
In order to effectively minister, native pastors and their families move to the harsh conditions of city slums or remote villages to live alongside their congregations. Through various forms of evangelism, the message of God's love spreads fast and people are turning to Christ in amazing numbers. Modest house-churches quickly outgrow their spaces and the need for pastoral and church planting support becomes great. Once established, the leadership of the church works toward becoming self sufficient.
