Calvary Boise Medical Team Outreach
A team of health care professionals from Calvary Chapel Boise and other like-minded ministries travel to India each year for a two week medical mission to India. The teams conduct medical camps for the ministries of Calvary Chapel Trust under the leadership of Pastor L. Gunasekaran. The team typically examines our Home of Hope children and workers, lepers, and many slum and village people; many of whom suffer with TB, AIDS, malaria, asthma, and other diseases. It is our prayer that this outreach is used by the Lord to not only meet the immediate medical needs of the people in India, but to also aid our pastors and evangelists in their efforts to reach the poor with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our next scheduled trip is for the first two weeks in September of 2009. Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Optometrists are needed. Applications can be found on this site under trip preparation.
